Rays trade Austin Pruitt to his hometown Astros for 2 minor leaguers

The Astros acquired Pruitt, a former University of Houston standout, from the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday night in exchange for two minor leaguers — outfielder Cal Stevenson and pitcher Peyton Battenfield.
