SAN DIEGO — A’s manager Bob Melvin applauded Mike Fiers’ decision to provide on-the-record allegations of the Astros’ alleged electronic sign-stealing plot during their 2017 season while new Angels manager Joe Maddon would “like to believe MLB will do something to eradicate that.”
